National Human Capital Conference and Exhibition (NHCCE)
Role
Designer for full-scale visual rollout across venue, including main LED backdrop, stage elements, booth structures and marketing materials.
The Task
NHCCE is one of Malaysia’s flagship platforms for human capital development. Held at MITEC, the event brought together policymakers, industry leaders and changemakers across sectors. The aim was to create a visual experience that felt bold, future-focused and nationally relevant.
Creative Direction
The identity leaned into clean lines and modular layouts, giving the space a sharp but open feel. Typography was used to separate zones and support readability at scale. Visual energy came through the rhythm of light, motion and space.
Design Across Spaces
The branding appeared everywhere, from the entrance arch to the escalator wraps, from booth walls to lift signs. As guests entered, they were greeted by a bold arch and escalators lined with welcome messages and themes. Inside the halls, big LED screens, branded booths, info walls and printed signs kept the look and feel consistent. Each item followed the same design style, making the space feel complete and connected.
Marketing Collaterals
The campaign extended beyond the venue. Posters, digital invites, e-banners and promotional decks were created to promote the event across different platforms. Each item kept the same tone and visual style as the main event, helping to build awareness and excitement leading up to the day. The visuals were also adapted for social media, news coverage and press announcements to make sure the brand stayed visible everywhere it needed to be.
Conference in Motion
The programme moved quickly. Talks, videos, panels and announcements all flowed back to back. The screen visuals were controlled live from the console, matched to every moment on stage. The visuals helped each part of the programme land smoothly without stealing attention.
By the Numbers
Over 4,000 attendees
More than 20 booths
International speakers from multiple regions
Dozens of keynotes and panels
Featured in national media and livestream online.
In the Moment and After
This was more than just a design job. It was about being fully present, adjusting files on the fly, solving last minute changes, running live visuals and making sure each moment on screen matched the energy in the room. Being on site, close to the action, made every decision feel real.
From the entrance arch to the final stage slide, every detail helped shape how the event was felt. NHCCE became a reminder that good design is not just about how something looks. It’s about how it moves, how it connects and how it stays with people long after the lights go down.
